Zopo had launched the Zopo 810 a few weeks ago. The Zopo 810 was powered by MT6589 Quad core processor and 1GB RAM. The Zopo 810 has 8MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera. It came in India at Rs.12999. Today we bring you the Zopo 810 review in which we have reviewed the device. The Zopo 810 is value for money mobile, see our detailed Zopo 810 review below for more information.

Box Pack

The Zopo 810 came in a good looking box, with all the normal accessories including adapter, micro USB, earphones, manual and user guide. The box did not include a screen protector for Zopo 810. But all the other accessories were in good condition and premium looking.

Design and Feel

The Zopo 810 looks a premium mobile and the look and feel of the mobile is good. Unlike other devices by Chinese companies the Zopo 810 looks a good quality mobile with good build and design. Another advantage of the Zopo 810 is that it doesn’t have a very big company logo on the back, instead a simple small logo is present on the back’s lower side. The Zopo 810 back was scratch resistant and we saw that it didn’t get scratched easily.

The front side of the Zopo 810 has 3 soft buttons for menu, home and back respectively. The front side also has camera on the top. The back side of the handset is also good looking and gives the feel of a premium mobile. It has volume rocker, and sleep button on one side and on the top there is 3.5mm audio jack.

Display

The Zopo 810 has 5 inch IPS screen with 1280×720 pixels display. The display was bright and the touch was very smooth. The display was a little dim outdoors in the sunlight but indoors it was very bright. The display was sharp though it could have been a little more sharper. Also the resolution of the screen could have been better but it looks good anyway.

Memory and Storage

The Zopo 810 has 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. We found that in the 1GB RAM there was about 637MB free for the user. Also in 4GB internal memory only about 1.2GB was free for the user. Clearly, 1.2GB of storage is not enough is it may be the only negative feature that may prompt you not to buy this mobile. So if you want big games and more apps in your mobile, Zopo 810 may not be the mobile for you.

Processor and Performance

Zopo 810 is powered by MT6589 quad core CPU and  PowerVR SGX544 graphics. It also has 1GB RAM. The performance of the Zopo 810 was great, and there was no lag in the device. We tested Need For Speed Most Wanted in the device and saw that it ran smoothly was almost no lag.
The Zopo 810 was capable of playing 1080p videos too.
Benchmarking
  • AnTuTu – 12758
  • Quadrant – 4011
  • Multi touch – 5 point
  • Nenamark2 – 51fps

 Camera

The Zopo 810 has 8 Mega pixels primary camera which has LED flash, as well as 2 Mega pixels secondary camera. The primary camera was able to record videos in HD in 1080p and the videos were clear. In images the images were very sharp and there was almost no blur.
The secondary camera also operated well, and we saw that the images were clear, but not of very high quality. Video calling was good and operational.

Sound Quality

The sound quality of the Zopo 810 was good for normal usage. The sound was much better than that of Xolo Q800. The Zopo 810 has 3.5mm audio jack that works well. The earphones provided with the Zopo 810 are also of good quality.

Battery Life

The battery life of the Zopo 810 is good. It is powered by 2000 mAh standard battery which lasts for around 1 and a half days in normal usage. During heavy gaming too the battery lasted very well and ran for 5 hours on continuous usage.

Final Take

No doubt the Zopo 810 is a good mobile, but the only con of the mobile is that it has only 4GB of internal storage. This might not allow you to install many apps. But if you can limit the number of apps on your mobile the Zopo 810 should be the mobile for you. Another issue might be the lesser service centers to repair your Zopo 810 is anything happens, but they should be more as Zopo mobiles becomes larger company in India.

Aw, this was an extremely good post. Finding the time and actual effort to create
a really good article… but what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and don’t manage to get nearly anything done.

For model 810, made payment on 24th April, recieved confirmation on 25th April. How much time generally they take to deliver the phone? I’m from Mumbai. Person on the Costomer care said, they will get thier shipment on first week of May. Can you share your experience?

you are very fortunate to have this phone in 7 days. even after confirmation of payment on 25th I’m still to get this phone. Reason, shipment stuck in customs. I’m fed up. Could you pls post your phones photo on your blog, just to assure that they delivered atleast a single handset. Hope you don’t mind.

      Hi Apurvmj !

What I got was a review handset, that I have to send back after a week. Also, they would not have delayed the review handset otherwise the reviewer would review it negatively.

Also, I have included some images of the review handset in the post.

I feel really sorry for you. Have you paid them yet ? If yes, then I’ll try to contact them rearding your issue and help you resolve it.

      Regards,
      Brahmnoor Singh

If you do not get your refund in 10 days contact me, I will try my best to resolve your issue. This just proves that companies like Zopo should not be trusted.

If you need a better mobile you can always go for trusted budget companies like Micromax.

If you like 5 inch mobiles –

      1. Wammy Titan 2
      OR
      2. Micromax A116

Both have almost same specs, with the Titan 2 coming for 3k less.

and if you like 4.5 inch mobiles –

      Xolo Q800

Same specs, just 4.5 inch screen.

All these handsets are quad-core, with all the specs you want.

Its a good mobile, IMHO. But it would have been a little better if it was for Rs. 1000 cheaper.
