Samsung rolls out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 in India Ansh Jain January 14, 2014 Mobile 4 Comments Samsung is now rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for its flagship smartphone of the 2012, Samsung Galaxy S III in India. This update is available over-the-air(OTA) and via company’s Kies software. The further information that we scratched out is Android 4.3 update is about 408 MB in size. Sammobile also has told about the change log for the coming update, it includes Galaxy Gear support, core UI elements update, making the interface similar to the Note 3. The update also brings in new updated keyboard, updated GPU drivers, new lock screen with multiple widgets and improved ripple effect. Although the update was expected long time back, Samsung had delayed it due to some administrative reasons. The new Android 4.3 update also includes new screen mode, daydream mode, driving mode, new actionable notifications, new move to SD card feature and new camera mode with sound and shoot. Most of the new features were introduced with the Samsung Note 3, and after much demand from the users, they are finally available for the Galaxy S3. Previously, Samsung was attacked by the users owning galaxy S2, for not rolling out an official update for the device. The new software also reportedly introduces new Samsung apps like calculator, contacts, gallery and music apps, full screen support for samsung apps, and revamped S voice.
