Lava has recently launched their new smartphone known as Lava 402+. The smartphone is a successor of the 3G Lava 402. The device supports dual SIM with both GSM SIM cards. Quite similar to the Lava 402, the device has Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The 402+ has a 4 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels.

The smartphone has been powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and a RAM of 512MB. It has a 3-Megapixel rear camera with flash and has a front camera of 3MP. The device is available with with 4 GB inbuilt storage and supports further 32GB expandable storage by microSD card.

The Lava 402+ has a 1500mAh battery that can give upto just 4 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby. The options for connectivity include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with aGPS, EDGE, 3G, 2G, and GPRS. Available at a price of Rs. 5499, the Lava 402+ is certainly not one of the best devices in the market.

    I agree that the device is nice, but the price is high. Lava should learn for it’s mistakes, but it goes on launching devices.

    What do companies like Lava recon ?? They go on launching one device after the another, don’t they do anything else.
