Sony has finally launched its flagship mobile the Sony Xperia Z in India, at Rs. 39,000. The Sony Xperia Z runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, and it is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, and Adreno 320 GPU. The Sony Xperia Z has a RAM of 2GB. The handset should be fast, smooth, and lag-free, as per its specifications.

Sony Xperia Z has 13MP primary camera with LED flash, and Full HD 1080p recording, along with 2MP front camera, for video calling.

Sony Xperia Z supports 3G, and 2G both, and runs on micro-SIM. It has 5 inch screen with 1080×1920 display. The screen is quite good, it supports 10 point multi-touch display, as well as BRAVIA Engine 2.

The Sony Xperia Z has internal storage of 16GB, which is expandable upto 32GB via MicroSD card. The handset also supports WiFi, Buletooth 4, A-GPS, NFC, and Micro USB. It also has FM radio.

Sony Xperia Z doesn’t have any HDMI out port, and runs on 2330 mAh battery which has talk time of around 13 hours.

Sony Xperia Z has polycarbonate body, which Sony claims is water and dust proof. The Sony Xperia Z has quite a good body with it being only 7.9mm thick. It weighs only 146 grams.
