Finally after much demand from all over India, Google has finally launched the Nexus 7 in India. The Nexus 7 was launched after many demands with people trying to import the Nexus 7 by using proxy addresses in US. Google launched the Nexus 7 through its Play Store which is now available in India for buying mobiles by Google. At the moment Google has only introduced the 16GB variant of the Nexus 7. According to the Play store the Nexus 7 will be shipped come this April 5.

The Nexus 7 launched in India currently is only the WiFi only model, with no 3G support. But we can not say anything further. The Nexus 7 currently launched supports WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC.

There was a rumour about the Nexus 4 coming in India as the Nexus 4 official page listed India as an official supported country. But now, Google has launched the Nexus 7 in India, we hope that the Internet giant will also start supplying the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 in India.

Nexus 7 official in India

The Nexus 7 was officially announced last year and it came in 2 models the 8GB model and the 16GB model. There were rumours at that time that it will be launched in India and now it finally has.

The Nexus 7 features 7 inch IPS display that boasts of 1280×800 resolution. The tablet runs on 1.3Ghz quad core Tegra 3 processor. The Nexus 7 is lightning fast and is the best for Android.

It has 1GB RAM along with 8GB internal storage. The Nexus 7 is very good for gaming and has 12-core Nvidia GeForce GPU. This gives it very good graphics as well as gaming performance.

The Nexus 7 has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The Nexus 7 has only a front facing camera, for video calling that can capture videos in 720p also.
