LG has announced Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS update for the LG Optimus L7. The LG Optimus L7 was launched in February this year, and it ran on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. After announcing Android Jelly Bean updates for the high end mobiles, LG has now announced the LG Optimus L7 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.

The update from LG was expected, as the electronics company had been rolling out updates for other devices in the past few months.

According to the official statement by LG, the update for the LG Optimus L7, will make browsing experience better. It would also make notifications better, and would introduce Google Now to the device. The update also has several UI improvements.

The users of LG Optimus L7 can update it via the official LG PC Suite.
